Dr. Yahya Dikengil is a quadruple boarded physician, with boards in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care, and Sleep Disorders Medicine. He attended medical school at the UMDNJ school in Newark and his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital program in pulmonary critical care and Sleep Medicine. He has served as Medical Director of the Sleep Center at Mountainside Hospital and is currently the Medical Director of the Center of Sleep Medicine at Hudson Regional Hospital.
Dr. Dikengil's experience in sleep disorders medicine has provided tremendous service to the community. In addition, he has many years of experience in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and served as the first Medical Director of the Intensivist Program at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. He has also worked as a Teaching Attending at the Medical Residency Program and has been voted "Teacher Of The Year" two times.
