Manar Al Asad, MD

Dr. Manar Al Asad is a highly accomplished Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Physician with over 20 years of clinical experience. His specialized interests encompass a broad range of complex respiratory conditions, including Pulmonary Embolic diseases, Interventional Pulmonology, COPD, Lung Cancer and many others.

Dr. Al Asad holds certifications in Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Pulmonary Medicine. He completed his residency at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine at Englewood Hospital, where he also served as Chief Medical Resident. He then pursued a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at Geisinger Medical Center, where he was appointed Chief Fellow. Following this, he completed a second fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine with specialized Interventional Pulmonology training at the Columbia University School of Medicine at Harlem Hospital, again being distinguished as Chief Fellow.

A recognized leader in acute care, Dr. Al Asad serves as the Director of Critical Care and the ICU at multiple facilities. His leadership is central to managing high-acuity environments and ensuring the highest standards of life-saving care.

In addition to his administrative and clinical roles, Dr. Al Asad is deeply committed to academic medicine. He is actively involved in the teaching and supervision of residents and fellows at several area hospitals.
