Dr. Jamil brings a wealth of experience and a patient-centered approach to our practice, ensuring comprehensive and personalized care for all.

Dr. Jamil began her medical journey in Pakistan, where she earned her medical degree. Seeking to further her expertise and contribute to healthcare in the United States, she moved to the U.S. and completed her Internal Medicine residency in Riverside, California. Prior to specializing, Dr. Jamil gained valuable experience working for two years as a nocturnist, enhancing her skills in acute care management. She then pursued her specialized training, completing her Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship at St. Michael Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Dr. Jamil is deeply committed to empowering her patients through education. She believes in guiding individuals to make informed decisions about their health, recognizing the complexity of the human body and the unique needs of each patient. "Every patient needs focused care and help from specialists, plus coordination between doctors, so that they can enjoy their life to the fullest," says Dr. Jamil. She understands that navigating the U.S. healthcare system can be challenging for those outside of it, and she is passionate about making healthcare services easy and accessible for all her patients with the support of her and her team.

Outside of her demanding medical practice, Dr. Jamil enjoys a variety of hobbies that reflect her adventurous spirit and caring nature. She loves hiking, watching movies, and is actively involved in rescuing pigeons and other birds. Staying active is important to her, and she enjoys trying different fitness workout routines. In her spare time, Dr. Jamil cherishes exploring the diverse culinary scene of New Jersey, trying new restaurants and cuisines with her family.
