Dr. Manar Al Asad is a Pulmonary Disease Specialist and Critical Care Physician with over 20 years of experience. His special interests include conditions such as Pulmonary Embolic diseases, Interventional Pulmonology, COPD, Lung Cancer, Bronchoscopy, and more.
Dr. Al Asad earned his American Board certification in Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine and completed his residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine at Englewood Hospital. He went on to complete his first Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville , PA, where he was appointed Chief Fellow. Additionally, he completed another Fellowship program in Pulmonary Medicine with Interventional Pulmonology Training at Columbia University School of Medicine at Harlem Hospital in New York, where he was also appointed as Chief Fellow.
